Tokens requires OS X Yosemite (10.10).
Your password is securely stored in the local keychain. All communication with iTunes Connect happens on your Mac. Your account details are never sent to our server. See our security page if you'd like more details about this stuff.
Not yet. We'll be looking into this very soon.
No. This would be a pretty direct violation of the rules.
11.1 Apps that unlock or enable additional features or functionality with mechanisms other than the App Store will be rejected.
Yep! Click the add button and choose "Manual Import". Tokens can't tell if manually imported promo codes were previously redeemed, so only import codes that haven't been used yet.
Tokens displays apps that are Ready For Sale, Processing for App Store, Pending Developer Release, or Pending an Apple Release. Apps in other states are not displayed because Apple does not allow promo codes to be generated for them.
Accounts that have the Admin, App Manager, or Marketer role in iTunes Connect can generate promo codes using Tokens.
No, that would be crazy. Tokens only generates promo codes as you need them.
The trial version lets you fully use the app for 7 days. If you want to continue to use Tokens after that, you can upgrade to the paid version.
You surely can. Just hold option while you share, copy or drag the tokens. Sharing tokn.co links help the recipient easily redeem apps and they also let you track when a token has been redeemed, so we recommend them. But you're the boss.
Our app communicates with iTunes Connect using a technique known as HTML scraping. This breaches section 8.1 of the Mac App Store Review Guidelines so Tokens would never be approved. Tokens is signed with a Gatekeeper developer ID.
If you copy ~/Library/Application Support/com.usetokens.Tokens to your new Mac and restart Tokens, it will have all the previous data.
You should receive it within a few minutes of paying. If you don't, check your spam folder, then get in touch with us at email@example.com and we'll sort it out ASAP.
Peer Assembly is another Irish-based macOS and iOS software company run by Denis Hennessy.
In 2017, Oisin and Padraig agreed to transfer Tokens to Denis so that they could focus on Castro.
Denis lives with his wife and imaginary cat in Ireland when they're not travelling around Europe in their motorhome. You should definitely follow him on Twitter.
Yes! Or you could talk to Darran Morris about designing one especially for you.
